"FC 10" .223 Brass?

To a extent I can understand them not talking back the brass because you partially used it.

I would call and speak with a supervisor and point out this thread to them and tell them this is giving them a bad wrap.

To me it is totally unacceptable to send out a product that was not advertised. I would not care if it was made in the same plant. The description said lake city and that is not what you got. You have only loaded 50 and it's not like you loaded 450 and want to refund it.

I buy A LOT from midway and have only 2 instances (a post above and a red dot sight that did not work) that I had any problem needing to send something back. Both times I was very satisfied. They even refunded the amount it ycost me to send the red dot back on top of the original shipping charge.

If they did that to me I would no longer do business with them.!

I just sent them a reply to their e-mail along with a link for this thread. Not sure if it will do any good, but I will post again if they are willing to fix the problem.

I won't be ordering anymore from Midway until they make it right for you. There are a lot of places to spend money.

I sent them a email also. Below is the one I sent then fallowing is there 2 in response.

Larry

I am a member of a forum called The High Road my user name is kingmt. I have never bought anything from your company but I speak to others that do & while I usually here a good report about your company I happened on this thread "FC 10" .223 Brass? I put the address in the hyperlink for you to view. I'm shock that a company with the report of yours would falsely advertise a item then treat a costumer as this person states they have. I understand by being in management myself that sometimes a employ doesn't do as the company likes & takes it upon there self to make there own policies. I would hope this is the case this time & anything sold under false pretense was a mistake that you would go out of your way to fix.

I am glad you have taken the time to recognize what I have to say. I also hope you will appreciate me use my time to show my concern here & will look into the matter personally. I would also be thankful if you would respond to me so I can understand your company's stand on this.

Larry is out of town this week and he has asked me to answer his emails in the meantime. He reads everything when he gets back, but because of the volume of mail he asked me to respond so customers didn’t think he was ignoring them. When I read your thread, I had the inventory checked (which is the reason for the slow response, and for that I apologize) and it is marked Lake City. However, since the exact same production line in the Lake City plant runs all of the 5.56 brass for Lake City and Federal there is a possibility that there may have been a few cases of Federal headstamped brass that was included with the Lake City brass we purchased. I am assured that the brass is all Lake City 5.56 brass whatever the headstamp. Of course, if the customer was unhappy with the headstamp he could return it, but the headstamp is the only difference. Our return policy is pretty clear, and I cannot imagine the customer being told that he could not return it. I will go on record for MidwayUSA saying that if a customer wants to return this brass because they are not happy with it, they can. In fact, I would go a step further and request that customer contact me so I can pull the recorded calls and get to the bottom of this. If I have a rogue agent making up policy, I want to coach them on that. Thanks for taking the time to drop us a line on this. I haunt a lot of the forums but I had not seen this thread.

FC and LC as far as I can tell are the same. Nato markings are just for the military contract. I use both interchangably from the brass our department puts through our AR's for qualifications. Same charge wieghts and primers

I think we're getting a little nit-picking.

Years ago Starline made brass with a Midway head stamp, now was it Starline brass or Midway brass?

This is just my opinion and I left the humble part out on purpose.
