Feather AT9 Question

1. I have seen a couple of Feather AT9s at gun shows and can't tell the difference between preban and postban models. Is there a difference with these carbines?

2. Does anybody know of someone else who has cut their barrel and recrowned it to make it an SBR? I am speaking of course only of people who have done this legally and have filed with the BATF and local Chief LEO and paid the $200 tax.

Any info would be appreciated.

my only experience with the feather consisted of a single magazine at the range. the wire stock sucked, but the sights were good and the weapon was pleasantly accurate.
