I was reading in my Hornady manual that the 215's were developed specifically for the 300 Weatherby... I looked at other Belted mags, and they list WLRM and Rem 9 1/2 M. 300 Dakota listed with the 215. All the Bee's. are loaded with the 215's.

I get stumped at my bench all the time ! Why me ? Guy wants 125 bucks for 5 packs of primers on Gun Broker.

I have CCI 250, Rem 9 1/2 Mag and WLRM

Any if the primers you have in stock will work.

What caliber you loading?

gotta love it when folk gotta a be correctin other folk. Whatta would be a happnin ie we bee kin?

manual says Under 300 Bee in particular... none of the other mags with the exception of the 300 Dakota and the 300 RUM and a couple others. Did you notice that? Reckon ya need to go back a take a look see. And the Weatherbys all have the 215 and no other, why is that? Kinda odd ain't it? In the 9th Ed it says in parenenthisis in particular ...and I be a quotin "The 215, a hot magnum primer, was developed specifically for this task".....The wording in parenthesis is only for the Weatherby.... I follow patterns, good thing to do. Even if you don't agree, it's still a good argument !! LOL

We’re not correcting you, just offering a different point of view so that you may enjoy the Weatherby I’ve been reading about lately, without being taken to the cleaners for primers.

All three of your alternatives would suffice. Perhaps one may be the magic ingredient to make the rifle really shine. I personally observed a marked difference in performance among different primers in one instance.

Otherwise this would just be complaining,
and belittling helpful others.

I’d tell you to knock off being so particular and take the friendly advice, cousin.:)
And it would sound just like, a more nasal, Larry the Cable Guy when I did it, despite what I may write like.:D

Well, son, got your PM by the way, I was just pointing out you were being a Jack wagon, a lot lately.
It isn’t just the moderators that don’t appreciate it.
If you can’t say it in public, it aught not be said.

If it’s a bandwagon after you, take the hint?

Secondly, you have a small bit of information about one primer and a fundamental lack of understanding of all primers in general, evidenced here.

Or, this was just another “complaining about component price” thread?

Your choice.
