Greeting,
Does anyone know anything about Federal Premium Tactical bonded 230 +p .45 auto (law enforcement ammunition), and why is seems to be available to the public? Not that I’m complaining: ) 50 rounds are aprx 32.00 at this store.
Thanks in advance

Ken

HST?.....

Is that a HST brand?
If it's bonded & for sale, can you post a link?
I saw HST +P 230gr JHPs at a site called Alamo Ammo in the Lone Star State. It runs about $34.00 USD for 50/rd but it's not bonded.

I use Critical Duty 220gr +P now but would purchase new HSTs if I could buy them.
Bonded, LE type pistol rounds always seem difficult to buy open source.

If its the same stuff I'm thinking about, some of the guys I know in other parts of the state that carry .45ACPs swear by it. It isn't on state bid, so must be an individual officer purchase or the department went and bought it on their own. The Law Enforcement markings are for Federal's distribution purposes. You can buy as much as they will see you.

As far as price goes, here's what Alabama pays for various kinds of ammo.

PoliceHQ.com ....

Streichers(Strikers) has Federal HST 230gr +P bonded on back-order. The website says it's $34.00 or so for 50 .45acp rounds.

I've purchased items from the firm before & they are decent. No word on how or when the HST bonded loads or supply will be in stock.
