I wish you all a Safe time During Hurricane Irma, I am in this with you as I am in Zephyrhills, FL. It is just as crazy in this little town as it is in yours, no gasoline, no water, no bread, plywood\food\generators are flying off the shelves, and Irma just may miss us or we get a direct hit, I am saying prayers for all. I volunteered at the local sandbagging area, even though I have a bad back and can barely walk, I sat down and tied the sandbags for everyone for a about an hour or better, had to leave, just to much pain. I hope you remember your supplies, batteries, flashlights, canned goods, I used old milk jugs to fill with water just in case water does not make it to us in time.
I took my ammo, powder and primers and sealed them in ziplock bags, then placed them in their own ammo can as well as my handguns, except for the ones I will keep on me for the dirty word after natural disasters.......LOOTERS. My shotguns and rifles I am not sure how to protect these, I am putting nails in the wall in the studs of course and hanging them up high just in case of flood. How are you storing longarm weapons?
God speed, and God Bless us all here in Florida, Be kind to one another during this as we are all in it together and will depend on each other in the end. The one you argue with and hate today might be the one to save you tomorrow......

I am in South Georgia in a town on I-75 and we are inundated with Florida refugees. All hotel rooms full and gas stations are mostly out of gas.
