Hey guys. I am having an issue with light surface rust on my little dandy pistol powder measurer rotors. How would you all store them to protect them from rust. They are in controlled climate and it still happens. Any ideas?

Unless you want to clean and degrease before each use, they must be stored "in the white." This means you should wrap them in VCI paper (or bags) or desiccant in a plastic bag.
Otherwise, any good rust-preventative oil is fine.

The low-dollar method used by old mechanics is mothballs. In the drawer, box or whatever you store the tools in put in a small tray with a few mothballs. something metal or plastic. Just keep the mothballs from contacting the steel, they absorb moisture and will promote rust when in direct contact with steel.

Thanks guys. I would like to not clean them every time I use them. I have some anti-rust paper at work. Maybe I will give that a try. Thanks again for the suggestions.
