Very cool story.

Considering it took place in the aisles of a train, the robbers were armed with knives, swords, and fake(?) pistols, and the man estimated that the fight lasted 20 MINUTES , it sounds like it was 11 knife fights one after another.

"...taking on the dacoits in the train was my duty as a human being."

Wow. This is a sentiment not much in evidence these days. (Or at least it's not much in evidence in other cultures.) Bravo, Bishnu Shrestha of Baidam.

A khukuri is one of the most well balanced for hacking edged weapons I have ever swung. I would not want to cross paths with someone that had been trained to use it.

And I second the point about not many people share that sentiment as "their duty as a human being". Maybe that is the real decline of society, that we all don't feel that.
