I've been looking for quite awhile for a gunbelt that is inexpensive, attractive and effective, and that I wouldn't mind getting roughed up. I've finally found what I wanted.
It is the Boston Leather (bostonleather.com) model 6582 belt:
o 1-1/2" wide
o black only
o silver or gold-colored buckle
o satin, "Clarino" or basketweave finish
o about 1/4" thick
o stiff enough to support a full-size gun, but supple enough to be comfortable.
I've been wearing one while doing landscaping work for the past three months and it still looks great. If you look closely you will see lots of indentations that I've made while working, and lots of tiny wrinkles where it's been flexed the most, but from normal viewing distances it looks sleek and deep black.
I also like that, the way it's finished (I got the satin finish), it looks dressier than most of my other gunbelts.
I bought two in July 2014 at copsplus.com (because they had the gold buckle) for $18 each. It's also available from Lapolicegear.com (with the silver buckle only) for $16 each.
I do have a number of custom gun belts costing as much as $90 each, but at those prices I can't afford to rough them up. This belt looks like it will hold up well for many years, will effectively support all my handguns, and if I destroy it it's cheap to replace.
