After several months of waiting, I finally made it down to my folks place in Ohio. And believe me, the wait was well worth it!

I have always liked that gun. If it were available in a 9mm Luger, I would have bought one when they were still pretty cheap. It is the ammo thing that keeps me from getting one. I am a shooter first and a collector second.

I have never seen one in such good condition. I have always wanted one. How difficult is it to find the ammo and is it expensive? Congrats!

Nice gun! ammos seems easygun hard and that is a nice looking piece.

I shoot .38 Supers in mine with no trouble. Sometimes the bolt face needs to be opened a bit and sometimes they fit as is.

I'd still want a Destroyer of Pilgrim's variety, no matter how nice yours may be, .45guy:D . Sorry, but the one just has more "bang" for the buck.

Hey .45guy Can I shoot it some time? where you at in WI?? lets make a range day. I'll let you shoot my big .50

I'm stuck on the north side of Milwaukee...Let me know when you want to hit the range. I'm always game.

Also, work takes me up towards Manitowoc almost daily, and on the weekends I'm usually out between Richland Center and LaCrosse at my in-laws'.

Soooo what prompted you to trade it away after owning it for less than a month?

I really have no need for a rifle that basically serves the same purpose as a .22, but costs way more to shoot. BTW, I have a Marlin .22 mag that is equally useless. It can go in trade as well.

Does anyone know what the going rates are for Destroyer's? Gunbroker and Auction Arms are all over the place as to selling prices. Anyone have the latest edition of the Gun Trader's Guide?
