Here's what the current crown looks like. I don't think it's too bad, TBH. What do you guys think?

Looks like the lands are non-existent at the muzzle. Your probably losing a lot of accuracy in the last few inches of the barrel.

I think the lands are almost non-existent just forward of the action, lol, but I take your point.

Ironically, that much wear usually comes from overcleaning from the muzzle without using a bore guide instead of from bullets. A counterbore could save that barrel profile and improve your accuracy with a slight loss in velocity from the barrel.

One trick to check crowns is to use a q-tip and see if it leaves any fibers on the crown which indicates burrs. A competent gunsmith should be able to counter bore which takes care of the crown btw for not that much as it doesn't involve very much setup with machine tools to do.
