Will probably get a suppressor for my 9mm and .22LR. Got any recommendations on companies?

Not sure this matters but...
USE: outdoor range shooting / plinking

My primary guns: P226, Walther P99, G19, FNX9

Also shoot: Ruger 10/22, AR in .22LR , buckmark .22LR

Would be great if it worked with 5.56 NATO in the AR.

From what I can tell browsing this forum, these are good:

http://libertycans.net

Seems like the liberty mystic can do that. Any others? What if I just want to buy for 9mm. A specialized suppressor? Any advantages?

Totally new to this...

The Osprey and the Ti-Rant seem to be the two most effective pistol suppressors available right now based on what little research I have done so far. I'm probably gonna go buy the Osprey .45 because my LGS has them for $695 right now.

The liberty Mystic can handle all of the calibers listed. Slow rate of fire on the .223, but it'll handle everything you listed.

AAC's Ti-rant is on my "to buy" list this year after hanging around the suppressor-oriented forums to get some comparisons and reviews.

I use a Osprey on my. 45's and 9's. One can multiple calibers.

My next can will be a Sparrow.

Silencerco's products and customer service are slowly turningme into a fanboy.

+1
Osprey 45 is great. Grab a spare 9mm piston and use it on two guns, three if you throw in a .40S&W piston.

For .22lr I went with the Sparrow because it looked the easiest to clean -- .22lr is dirty and soft lead, lots of particles will accumulate. Mine should be in my hands April 20th.

Seems like it's just a materials difference. Is aluminum bad for a silencer? It titanium really necessary or just a convenience?

Since its costs you $200 for the stamp and an ~6 month wait, in the long run buying one made from the best materials possible is the way to go. For most things, I'm perfectly willing to buy cheap and then buy again if the lower cost option doesn't meet my needs (I rarely need to buy again as I understand my needs and what it takes to meet them), but for all the up front hassle getting a can or an SBR I don't think it pays to skimp at all in this case.

I'd consider aluminum marginal as suppressors trap a lot of hot gases and aluminum has a rather low melting point compared the other material choices. If the outer tube with the serial number breaks you're basically out the $200 tax and get to start over.

With a .22lr suppressor you'll need to disassemble it for cleaning eventually as they accumulate lead bits as there are no FMJ .22lr ammo I'm aware of.

Actually the prices in your link are not out of line with the the non-quick mount offerings from Gem-Tech and others.

I went with a SS sparrow for my .22lr, easy to take apart and clean works amazingly on my Buckmark Whisper.

In 9mm I went with the Gem-Tech Multimount, I wanted one that would work on my handguns as well as my 9mm AR and MP5 SBR's.

What is in stock and does one SOT have a range where you can check them out to use while waiting can also be big factors. 5-10% more spent to be able to visit your toys while waiting is worth it to some, others it might be $$$ or gotta have "X".

The best solution is to get both since you'll use both.

My favorite can is the SWR Trident-9. I use it on the Uzi, MP5, G19 and Beretta 92. It brings the decibels down to the low 130s.

Here's a vid I made shooting the Uzi. The first half of the mag is supersonic the second half is subsonic.

For some reason the video is lagging behind the sound, but you still get the idea.
