Hey guys, new to the site, so this would be my first post. I sold my foxpro fx3 earlier this year and just got the new foxpro fury. set my caller out about 50yds and set up in a tree line that borders on a cornfield behind a rural residential area, eg. my parents house, started using a baby cottontail distress. almost immediately a small flock of crows came in and started searching, after the crows pushed on all the neighboorhood house cats started searching the field. no coyote tho. i love the new foxpro fury compared to the fx3, most of the difference in my opinion is the new remote, that thing rocks. on a side note, anyone using a 243wssm for predators? if so how do you like it? i'm currently building a new AR-15 in 243wssm. lower receiver is almost done, paycheck to paycheck, but i have plenty of time cause i'm having mike at dtech build my upper receiver assembly.

I've heard the fury is awesome, I'm sure you'll have success with it. My buddy has a scorpion and we've been killing dogs. Good luck!

went back out and made 2 more stands. no coyotes newhere. after calling for 15 min a porky bobcat came in, must have been 25lbs. too bad i didn't get a bobcat license this year. came out of the woods about 90 yds away and closed in to around 30yds. cool stuff, never seen a bobcat in the wild, always seen em flat on the road.

Been thinking of trying this at our hunting camp, yesterday evening 15 minutes until dark the yotes starting howling, sounded like 8 or more grown dogs and some pups. Do you thing putting the call in a hay field with elevated shooting houses in place is a good set up? Thanks Mac

i've used that same setup plenty of times, with good results, as long as i am downwind of the caller. noticed your display name, encoreman, my current coyote killer is a TC Encore in 22-250AI flavor, love it!
