First Time with the new Mk II

I've been wanting a Savage Mk II. rifle for quite some time now and saw this rifle yesterday, which is used, as is for $200 with the peep sights. Needless to say, it's now mine . Got out to the range in 5 degree weather and got about 25 rounds (bulk federal) through it before my hands and feet went numb. I'm just excited I have the rifle and that I got out today so I figured I would put a post up. I'm very happy with this target as a first round with the rifle and hope that with some higher quality ammo (and some more practice ) I can tighten that up a bit.

Try some Wolf MT or SK Standard. The Savage rifles shoot those very well.
