Fixed sights and lighter bullets

I recently purchased a fixed sight revolver that shoots to point of aim at 25 yards with 158 grain bullets. What impact will going with lighter bullets, say 125 grains, have on the POI? Will the gun shoot higher or lower?

Lower if the bullets are leaving the gun faster. Less recoil time while bullet is in the barrel. Also a lighter recoil due to a lesser reaction mass.

Probably lower. I have a fixed sight revolver that shoots 158 grainers to point of aim at 7 yards. At same distance 125 grainers hit 1-1 1/2 inches below point of aim.
