I just wanted to show off the Model 67 I won on Gunbroker a couple months ago. It's a 1972 vintage Yolo County Sheriff issue. It had it's share of dings and scratches so I decided to polish it. I added the Ahrends Retro Combat grips and here we are. I did do some internal polishing, installed a Trapper Gun mainspring and a lighter rebound spring. The SA trigger pull is now at 2.6#. That's lighter than I'd like so I'll be swapping springs again to add about a pound. I like the stainless sights as far as being different but the sight picture leaves something to be desired. There's probably going to be some changes in that department.

I'm also going to install S&W medallions on the grips as soon as I get my 1/2" Forstner bit turned down to the proper size.

Looks great! I like the grips too. What do you have in mind for the sights?

I'm not sure yet as far as the sights. The black white outline on my 66 will fit so I thought I'd try that one to see if I like it. But I really think the biggest improvement would be to install a red ramp on the front. I know I could paint it but I've never been to fond of that. I just don't know if I'm up to installing the red ramp. Larry Potterfield makes it look so easy but he makes everything look easy in his videos.

Looks good.
I use to buy lots of these Police Trade ins and rebuild them .
In fact , yesterday I gave Armoredman the last set of grips that I had taken off a model 67 to use on his model 10.
The grips were all chipped up and the medalians damaged.
But I sanded then smooth and flattened the logo's off and they will work fine for what he wants.

Thanks guys. I sold the magnas that were on this. They were in excellent shape so they weren't original to the revolver. For my hands I find the Ahrends Retro Combats just right. Much better than S&W targets and still better than their combats. the wood on these is Moradillo and I love the graining.

The M67 was my first issue-sidearm. It came with the thin wood stocks, which I quickly replaced with Pachmayrs for duty use. It was a great shooter, and I even placed quite well in several informal LE competitions with it.

Yours does indeed look nice.
