Does anyone here have an FM Hi-Power M90? The store I work at took one in on trade today, it's in very nice condition and I can take it home for about $150 out the door. Are the FM's worth owning? I figure that this on is worth $150 for the frame and slide alone as long as they're solid enough to build a quality Hi-Power on. Thanks for your help guys.:)

I've been told FMs are completely interchangeable with FN/Brownings, as FM got an official contract from FN to make them. I'm also told they are the best of the Browning clones.
I had an old HP that was an FN frame with an FM slide and it worked fine, despite being really beat up.
Two places to register and inquire, as they'll have better info.

Or www.pistolsmith.com.

Both of these have the knowledgable HP folks on them. You'll find a sub-board for Hi Powers at pistolsmith. Hope this helps.

Kurt you should jump on that deal. I havn't ever seen one for that price at any shop. Even if you dont like it you could get your money back and then some. :D

I'm currently planning to sell or trade my M90 for $200, so I'd say you got a good deal there. Mine has about 2000 rounds through it, but it is in LNIB condition, only a wear mark where my wedding ring hits (I'm a lefty).

I have an M95 with the shorter "Detective" slide & barrel that I carry daily. It's a great pistol, flawless operation. I'd grab it.
