Hey guys, this is my first post on the sight, but I have been browsing old threads and thought someone here might be able to help me out.
I recently purchased a FN HP DA from a gun show. I remembered how good a friends' HP felt years ago and thought the Dual Action might be worth shooting too.
The gun has had the magazine disconnect removed, trigger worked over and I found a 15 round mag from a BDM to go along with the two 10 rd mags it came with. I did not realize the gun had been discontinued and would be impossible to find parts and accessories for.
I have contacted FNH, the Herstal group, Browning, Brownells, MGW, CDNN, a handful of retailers and mail order companies and finally FNMI in South Carolina. FNMI imported the pistols from Belgium primarily for LE and military use until they were dropped from the line about 4 years ago. Nobody can tell me where I can find parts like mags, grips, recoils springs or other small parts.
Does anybody know who has small parts and/or accessories for the FN HP DA ( also known as the Browning BDA for a while)?
