Follow up to a Valtro Phone call you would not believe thread

John Jardine of Valtro USA got my gun last Friday afternoon via FED EX.
He called me right away to let me know he had it. The repair which was needed
due to the nature of adjustable sights and my VERY hard use including one handed malfunction drills using the rear sight blade to catch on things to rack the slide.

He replaced the front sight. Tig welded the rear sight ( no more breaks!) thinned my thumbs safety down a bit and reblued the gun. It will arrive back to me in the morning on Fed EX.

Total cost……… ZERO. I swear on my dead mothers grave I will never buy a 1911 from anyone else and I buy a handful every year.

hush you....HUSH!!!!!

I dont need to hear this .... *hands over eyes* adlfjaldf errr....

man this is sounding like the company to buy from each and every day. Valtro really looks like they are a company that actualy cares about their customers. Something you rarely get anymore. I dont need to sell this spare kidney i dont really need.....i really dont

You have no idea..... I am so tired of getting screwed by gunsmiths.

Nationally known gunsmiths with years of wait....broken due dates...excuses then excuses......then more excuses.

John Jardine may not be the best or then again he maybe. But one thing is for sure. he cares about his customers....wants the business and will do what ever it takes to make you happy. he does not think he is doing you a favor working on your gun.

Will somebody...

... send this as an email to EAA as quickly as possible.

Jesus in Heaven! That's one uncommon but very heartening report on just what customer service really should be!

one more thing.....

I forgot to add....... He hand fit a different barrel bushing. just because he though he could improve on it. Once again no charge

In fact another poster said it best when he quoted someting John Jardine has been heard to say in the past.. to wit: "Once Jardine's Custom takes your money you own me" [John].

I think that about sums up his ideas of customer service.

Take care,
Charles

Warning!!

With a little luck and word of mouth...a man like that could shut the others
down! Now that is what customer service is supposed to be...and I
wish him great success in his endeavors.

John Jardine...sal-UTE!

But Tuner, they aren't Ordnance Spec. ;) (Just kiddin')

I hope the quality and great commitment to service can be held where they are as they get more and more popular. Remember Kimbers in 1997? In the past year the wait time for a Valtro has increased from a month to 6 or 8.

Yeah...and I bet the dang things won't run without an extractor neither.:D
That new NRM GM will, by the way. Shucked'em right on out. I think
this one's a keeper.

Be of good cheer and mindful of your six...
