Today I was performing routing maintenance on some of my handguns, and fixed the fog over the lens on the lights. My HD handgun has a light, and I practice with the light in a darkened range from time to time. Now with it being close to the muzzle, it has gotten scratched, foggy, and dirty and not as crystal clear as it was when it was new.
This past weekend, I was detailing the car, and bought a product for the plastic lens covers. Well it works great on the gun lights also.
The plastic lens looks like brand new glass after I got finished. I thought the community would like to know about this stuff.
I bought this stuff at an local auto parts store.
