What's one of those containers worth? I used to save mine but never had (or made) the time to recycle them so I stopped keeping them.
I don't know as I have only been collecting since my last brass recycle trip. They weigh a couple of pounds each. My wife says this proves that I shoot to much.

Be curious to know what you get as well, I've got a 5 gallon bucket that I have spent primers and ruined brass in.

I just dump my cleverly McGuyvered Hodgdon can into the scrap brass bucket when it's getting a little heavy and stands a chance of wobbling out of the also cleverly McGuyvered Hodgdon can lid with 1.5" round hole (the good metal kind) screwed to the bottom of my bench under the hole where the primers drop out of the cast press base. My local scrap yard has always taken the lot as cartridge brass.

Around here last month cartridge brass was $1.75 LB. It has been over $2.25 within the past 4 years. I save mine in a gallon windshield washer antifreese container and fill it about evety year and a half.

My recycler pays abt $1.90 a pound.
But its been as high as $3.

Just depends on the current cost of brass shells.
