Does anyone have any references to these Fox News polls that they are reporting on today? They claim to have polls that report favoritism of high capacity mag bans and assault weapons bans. What is going on here? This is the right wing news that always sees bias towards our side of the aisle.

I have no idea. I always stick up for them as ''having our back'', [and compared to the rest they do] but Megan Kelly and Brit Hume sure seemed like they were working part time for MSNBC, today.

Really? I didn’t see them today but I always liked Megan and Brit. I will tell you is NO GOOD there is that phony conservative William Kristol. He came right out and said “no one needs those weapons”. Apparently he and O’Reilly only support 2A for shotguns & revolvers.

Yea I think it was Bret baiers or oreilys show, or maybe both that referenced the polls showing around 56 percent favoritism for both weapons and mag bans. I just really want to see the source for these polls that Fox News is using

I have taken graduate level courses in statistics and polling. Mostly what I learned is to ignore polling results. The way the question is framed, the number of people polled, and about a dozen other variables can profoundly effect the results.

If a majority of Americans truly wanted more gun control, Congress would pass it. The fact that many Congress members are against gun control, or at least are hesitant to get on that bandwagon, tell you the real story.

Did a majority of Americans want Obamacare?

I do agree that polls are a complete wasted effort and most often highly skewed.

As for the majority of Americans goes, we have to remain mindful of where that majority gets most of their information. The media is at the heart of all of this and although Fox proclaims to have our backs by slanting right I see them more toward the middle but better than the ABC, CBS and NBC networks that pin the needle to the far left.
Americans can't make intelligent decisions when they are being fed false information from all angles.

radiotom- No, never was a majority of Americans in favor of Obamacare. It was passed against the will of the people. Socialism happens sometimes even when the majority oppose it. My point is that if there was a majority favoring socialism it happens for sure.
