Frame size?

Howdy, My buddy didn't like his his new Ruger Speed Six. Now its mine.

It has the 2.75" barrel.

I know almost nothing about revolvers so.. What size frame is this?

Also any recomendations for Holsters and speedloaders?

That is Ruger's mid sized frame. They haven't made those is a lot of years as they went to the GP series. If it is really new, it is a keeper. They were made to compete with the K frame S&W. The Ruger Speed Six is a nice side arm.
SP-Small Frame
GP-Mid frame
The .44's, .454 Casull are on the Large frame.

Its not new. New to him,new to me. The guy he got it from said he bought it new and ran maybe 100 rounds through it. Aint real pretty due to some storage issues but functions fine after some hardcore cleaning.
