Just ordered a Frankford Arsenal Quick-n-Ez Case Tumbler from amazon for less than $36 shipped. It gets good reviews on Amazon but wanted to see what you posters thought of it.

I had a Smart Reloader Nano tumber that worked fine....for 3 months. It now barely shakes and will not work. First exp. with smart reloader equipment and will now stay away form them

I had a Dillon CV500 tumbler that I purchased used and wore out after 18 years of HARD use. Last Feb I got the same FA tumbler you just ordered and used it just like the Dillon. In July it started to slow down one day then stopped dead. I called the factory and asked about the guarantee and if they would send a new motor for it. The lady on the phone said they would just replace the whole thing and to save the old one for parts if I wanted. Three days later a new tumbler arrived on UPS.:D Then I took the old motor apart. It had a seized up bearing near the cooling fan that I freed up with PB Blaster and it then ran great after reassembling it. I found some replacement bearings on the net for $.99 each so I ordered 2 sets to use when the present ones die. BTW the new tumbler is still in the box as a spare. I found a Thumlers tumbler a couple weeks after my FA broke and use it with SS media to clean better than walnut/corn cob ever could, so I may never wear out my first one. I would recommend lubing the bearings when you get it and then periodically as it is used. Just have to remove the bottom plate on the base and put a couple drops on the bearing/shaft junction you will see under the fan.

I used the Frankford Arsenal Quick-n-Ez Case buzz bucket for at least 3 years. It get the job done, never a problem, price was right.

I have the FA tumbler as well. I acquired it used along with some other reloading gear so no telling how old it is. For the past several months it has been in almost constant use on several thousand rounds of brass. It is still going strong.

When it dies, I'll undoubtedly get another one.

My Frankfort Arsenal tumbler is very loud.

It would break a wire about once a year. Some repairs were not very easy to get to. Of course, it is a vibrator.

After two or three years, I retired the tumbler and bought a Berry. Very quiet. Much more reliable so far after two years.

I have a 90's vintage Midway tumbler that just keeps running and is quiet. Too bad Midway USA could not keep the same level of quality with the Frankfort.

I never desired a tumbler and in over twenty years never felt i really had the need for one, but at that price i just ordered one for some extremely horrid range brass i purchased from a fellow a while back. Suppose no more than i would use it the thing should be fine since i don't care whether or not my brass is shiny, but some of this range crap i have is so bad (dark) that defects are undetectable.
