A few years ago, RCBS had a little forum called "The Hub" on their website. One of the perks at the forum was a little reloading cost calculator for both metallic and shotgun. When they dropped the forum that little handy calculator also disappeared.
I decided then to recreate it with Microsoft Excel. Once it was finished I offered to add it here to "Resources" in THR. But the powers that be here thought it risky, since the code has some automated macros. They thought it might infect the forum with a virus, I guess. I'm not smart enough to know how that would work or happen, but they are smarter than me.
If an individual has Microsoft office on his/her computer, he/she could've downloaded it and used it free of charge or liability.
Fast forward to the present: I put that program on on a little-known free forum that a group of us previous RCBS forum users created just to keep in touch. Funny thing is, I think I'm the only RCBS fanatic of the group.....but I'm used to being part of the minority in this hobby.
Anyway, I don't know how much longer I'll be in the hobby, and I wanted to share this with my friends her, or really with anyone interested who has most any version of Office....even Open Office. Here's the link to the page where it is downloadable.....You can download it free. It's been there for 3 or 4 years now, and no one has got a virus. On the other hand, all I've witnessed is thank-you's. You don't have to join to download that I'm aware of.
