This is an ongoing investigation so I'm going to omit the names involved. A personal female friend (I've sat at more than one campfire with her family) of mine was at very nice bar in the Palm and Herndon area of Fresno minding her own business waiting outside the ladies room. A rather large man 6'2" plus in height and well over 200lbs (she is 5'8" and is about 100lbs dripping wet) pushed his way past her and vigorously swung open the door to the mens room hitting her in the elbow (funny bone) hard enough to cause her arm to go numb. She naturally said "what the f...". The guy grabbed her by the arms and pick her up off the floor and shoved her up against the wall. He said "Don't f... with me. You have no idea who I am" The guy was drunk and she kept her mouth shut. She poked around the bar asking who this guy was and no one wanted to tell her. After a while someone finally told her the guy was a (or THE, not sure) lead man for the Fresno "Magic" gang enforcement unit. This man was known to be sleeping with the bartender, not his wife. Since my friend is the child of a retired cop (been around a few campfires with him too) she immediately called her father, no answer. Dad saved the voice mail though. She then called 911. Fresno PD showed up and told my friend if she pressed the matter she would be getting tickets and generally harassed for a long time. It just gets better. . . her mother works for the Fresno Sheriff department as an administrative assistant of some sort. Never met her mom before. My friend tells the cops who her mom is, who her dad is and that they just picked the wrong person to push around. The Fresno cops finally took a report and we shall see what happens next.
I'm wondering if the guy was packing while drunk and threating little girls. :fire:
The Fresno PD is going to hell in hand basket. :(

This jerk gives good cops, like my female friends retired father, a bad name and it really ticks me off.
