Well, it's Friday....finally. To celebrate the weekend, I thought I post a picture of my favorite gun and knife. Springfield custom and a Sypderco Viele. Couple of my prized possessions. Happy Friday........

Ahh yes, the "Utility Combo."

You should get one of those folding utility knives that they have at car parts places and such - those are pretty nifty, and you never have to sharpen them!

Now put those on the hood of a Volvo or jeep next to an angle grinder and a mig welder.

The grips are Buffalo Horn from Eagle Grips. They are by far the nicest grips that I've have bought yet. Very very hard and extremely durable.

They are G10 made by Maddogg... Not sure if he's still around but he was a poster on our predecessor, TheFiringLine.com and maybe on 1911forum.com but last I heard (some time ago) he had just moved and his grip making was on hold. Might be in the Middle East even.

They are very sweet grips... One of my very favorite pairs.
