The sub head is Gun dealer (Jay Wallace) and mayor (Bloomberg) face showdown. Bloomberg to testify, it seems, in U.S. District Court suit, Judge Jack Weinstein presiding. This case could prove interesting, to say the least.

Actually, from what I hear, Weinstein ruled that Bloomberg will not be allowed to testify. I think most folks figure that was a favor to Bloomberg.
Weinstein will do anything to advance anti-gun interests, including telling the anti-gun side of a case exactly what arguments they should make in order to pass muster in his court, then re-opening argument so that they can make the arguments he just told them to make.

Don:

You might be right, for Judge Weinstein should long since recused himself from hearing ANY firearms/gun law related cases, so prejudiced has he shown himself to be. That didn't happen, which leves one wondering about what happened, as I thought it had been ruled that this suit would bve heard in Georgia. One wonders as to how arrangfements were made, or to put it otherwise, in blunt terms, who got paid how much, and by/from whose accounts the payoff came. As to Bloomberg being disallowed from testifying, could be. Personally I believe that Mr. Mayor, shooting his mouth off, could well sink his case, but that's only my opinion. Also, will this suit be heard by a trial jury or will the casebe tried before a judges only?
