I have a .357 octagonal 24" barrel R92 with an aperture rear sight on the barrel, which I think is a Williams. Except for light bullets, most loads shoot too high with the sight bottomed out. Max loads with 158 grain bullets are about 9-10" high at 50 yards.

Any suggestions on what front sight height (and brand) will give a good zero with serious ammunition?

Need sight radius, height of current front sight, and current front sight height above bore centerline to determine height of replacement front sight of the same model as current front sight.
