Really good condition '80 ("IA") German PPK in .380 Auto. Very smooth feed ramp, new "Walther" magazine, all ammo is new fmj.
No apparent limp wrist grip. Same grip on the superb new Sig 232, with one FTFeed (fmj) in approx. 400 rds.
This PPK/S has FTFeed once per 50-100 rds. The gun smith told me that most modern "practice" ammo can't blow the slide fully aft, therefore it can't strip some rounds from the magazine. The rds. go partway up the feed ramp.
As I might have read that the original recoil springs were about 20 lbs, the choice is among the Wolff set of 14, 15, 16, 17 lbs, so the 17 lb spring seems the most logical, to reduce unneeded stress on the frame.
The bluing is too nice for sweaty summer carry etc. The single objective is to make it much more reliable. Because of issues here and the bluing, will acquire a Russ. or Bulgarian Makarov somewhere here FTF in West TN as an alternative carry gun.
