There will be a shoot in my back yard(75 acres) and one at the same site as last years bulletfest in Ohio, june 25, and 26th. We had 1000 shooters on the line last year. The largest simultaneous firing of full auto in the country and a great time. We split it up,as the line was a few hundred yards long and we like to shoot, not wait in line, lol. Camping, food, tannerite. I'm sure the minigun will show again, plus just about everything under the sun. I can't wait. I'm trying to line up school bus, plus the usual cars and appliances. I'll post more as we get it squared away.

Sounds good Ken! Campy Bob's shoot last year was great ... and I will make a note of that weekend. Very much hope to be able to come up for it.

Bit too early to know for absolute certain ... might have to go to a buddy's funeral (well - he's gettin married'') ... but may well wriggle outa that.:p

I'll await more info as and when available.:)

if I remember correctly

it has been $10 to get on the line and $5 to watch. If you pay to shoot, you will get on the line, but you might get a brass shower, lol. We are meeting to this weekend to cover details.

minerva and lisbon area. Near east canton and alliance, close to route 30. If you go to ar15.com and look, you will see bulletfest threads in gen dis.I'm running the east shoot and campy bob is running the west range.

shoot link

we are updating page as soon as we can. I talked to Jack and hog roast is planned and maybe a big chunk of beef too. He didn't charge for the hog last year, but he will start this one earlier.bulletfest 5

Looks like I’ll be going!

FYI, if anyone reading this is not familiar with Bulletfest, it’s a fairly large gun shoot taking place in NE Ohio. It’s a two-day event taking place on June 25-26, 2004. Lots of full-auto action. Lots of fun! I went last year with a buddy of mine and had a blast.

This year is a little different in that there are two locations: Snodes Melon Farm in Minerva, Ohio and Jack Black's Farm in Dungannon, Ohio. We’ll probably check both places out!

In addition to the shoot, the band Pokerface will be playing in the Snodes barn Friday evening. They're great.

Here’s a link with information (directions, cost, etc.):

Will the same backstop and shooting direction be used at the Snode's location?

I’m not sure, but I can only assume so. It’s certainly not the best backstop… it’s too low, and the shooters must shoot uphill. Definitely not ideal. My guess is that they’ll be keeping a closer eye on muzzle direction, but I’m not sure how effective that will be.

We will be going down Thursday evening and spending the night at Snodes. We’ll check out the range at Snodes, and then probably head over to Jack Black’s place Friday afternoon. And then we'll come back to Snodes and watch Pokerface.

Last year I brought my FAL, but Snodes’ range was too crowded for comfort. Perhaps Jack Black’s place will be less crowded. If so, I’ll try to shoot off a few rounds there. I was also thinking about bringing my .50 BMG, but have decided against it.

No they have changed the angle and shortened the line, that's one of the reasons for 2 locations.

Now IMHO one of the strangest sights last year was when one of the refrigerators caught fire. Not sure why but a smoking fridge looks weird.

Can't make it this year regretably but ... went to last one. Indeed that berm was way too low and angle all wrong really ... mind you the ''bullet that hit the house'' deal, I still am very leary about re credulity!!!

Ahhh .. the fridge!! :D

I was lucky last year .. shared some space down far end with a guy and coupla buddies I was with .... had a blast over-heating L1A1 and AK etc! Between shooting those and walkin around ... kept watching the guy just to our right ... expending a totally uncountable qty of ammo thru his water cooled Maxim.:p

What a blast. For those who go .. enjoy ... and take some pics guys to post later eh!

BTW ..... Swager said he couldn't get back in here ... for some reason ... probably why he hasn't posted recently. He will be around .... probably with his Mac 10 (suppressed) ... :)

I hope someone took some videos.
Or at least some stills hopefully.

Wish I had the knack of being in two places at once! Really missed going but - at same time .. thoroughly enjoyed the ''Thunder in the Valley'' mega bike gathering in Johnstown PA ... seventh year and bigger than ever.
