I am a network engineer for a large electronics company and today we were installing some new office machines and taking out the old ones at a customer's location. One of the guys that works for the customer said that he was glad to see the old one go and if we wanted him to, he could help dispose of it. With that he reached down under his desk and pulled out a S&W .40 M&P pistol. I then told him that I could help with the .357 that I have in my truck. Just then the owner of the company comes in and looks at us like we were insane. I really thought that we were in trouble. In a minute the boss man comes back toting a Mossburg 500 Tactical Persuader! He said "I got you both beat". We talked firearms for a long time until we all realized that it was time to get back to work.

After that I just had to spend my lunch hour at the range putting some holes in paper.

It definitely was a fun day.
 
Sounds great! Maybe you guys could get together, make some new shooting friends. Hopefully the firearms were handled safely. That is pretty cool.
 
Just goes to show there are a lot more gun owners out there than you might think. congrats on a good day.

Absolutely safe. Mag dropped, slide racked, visual inspection, receivers and cylinders open, more visual inspections and tactile inspection and then we passed them around, of course with muzzles pointed in a safe direction.
