Went out of town this weekend and headed to someone's personal rifle range. Shot several rifles and tried some handloads for my .40S&W (200 grain JHP...shot nicely). Did quite a bit of bench shooting. I got my first C&R gun (Ex-Sniper MN 91/30) and shot 25 rounds through it for the first time. I don't have that target scanned, but will try to get it in the thread later. Basically a 3.5-4" group at 100 yards with one outlier. Iron sights and no tweaking, just shooting out of the box. We chrono'ed the MN and it runs 2700fps with Czech silver tip.

We also shot an M1, but don't have any targets for it.

Here's the fun one:

Savage 110 in 22-250 AI with handloads :D . Chrono'ed at 3900 FPS.

Here are target scans plus the handload stats:

I KNEW someone would ask that (at least I did when I didn't get the scope info :D )

Leupold 3x9 per the owner of the gun.

Thanks

Just noticed how well it held (expected) impact point at 200yd compared to the 100yd target. I handload for a 308 and have found that my original scope for some reason at 200 yards was not staying consistant with what it would do at 100 yards.

It was suggested by another shooter at the range that it had to do with a parallax problem. Switched to a new scope with AO and the P4 sniper recticle and there was a noticeable difference in it that held MOA that should be expected.

I wondered what scope you were using since the one I switched to is a compact thats actually for my AR15 and I still need to replace the one for my 308.
