I'm looking hard at a G33 . Lighter than my cherished RAMI and even more
powerful. A nice Fishing gun.

Questions:

The Glock 26 always felt Flippy in my hands,.

Does the G33 have more recoil, and is is more straight back??

As far as recoil goes. I've shot a Glock 22 and a G20. Didn't
like the pounding of my hands.

Is the G33 a real snorter?

Carry load would be 125 gr Gold Dots in either SPEER or Double Tap form, with DT
foremost.

I'll add: The .357 SIG isn't popular in my area, but you can find 50 count boxes of
JHP ( especially Ranger T) at discount prices at Gunshows.

My G33 is a real keeper. I find the .357 Sig round to be one that I keep coming back to. With the G33 I would say that in terms of snappiness it's less than a .40 (strictly in terms of being snappy) but more than a .45. One of the reasons why I love the .45 is that it pushes, and the .357 is somewhat like that, but a bit more snappy with a bit more muzzle rise. Of course, that's just with the G33 and I'm comparing it to longer barreled guns.

I find the G33 to be a pleasant shooting gun and in no way uncomfortable or overpowering. Plus, with the 33 you can throw in a .40 barrel (I have one but have never shot with it) or a 9mm conversion barrel (which I have also never shot with). Technically with the 9mm barrel one should change the extractor for 100% reliability, or so I've been told.

the g33 will kick more than a g26
i used to have a 27 (kick didnt bother me) but i think the midsized glocks are better

If I can put a replacement 9mm barrel into my G33, can I just remove the barrel from my G26 and pop it in?
Probably a big no-no but I am new to these interchanges. Any help would be great!

I thought of the G33. It's like a G26 with +P+ 9mm ammo. However, I went with a 10mm G29 with more powerful 180 grain ammo. If you like 9mm/.357 - go for the .357 SIG. TOGGLELOCK

I have a G33. It sits in the safemost of the time. Ammo is too expensive. Other than that it is snappy, but not overwhelminingly so.
