Does anyone have any experience with Galco's Training holster? I want a range holster that I can use for a Hi Power and full size 1911 and this looks like it will fit the bill.

Looks a little pricey at $125 but if I can use it for both of my favorite weapons it'll be worth it.

Yep had one, good holster works well with both 1911s and HPs! Just adjust the tension screws. I gave it to my Dad when I got my Bulman SBS-2 -

The Galco is nice, but Bulman's is better, same price :) . I do not know if it will work with a HP but it is really fast with a 1911! If your want 1 holster for both call Josh and ask if the SBS-2 will do it, if so great, if not buy the Galco...that's what I'd do.
EDIT...
Ok you're in luck, as I pressed submit... my brother just walked in with my HP& Dads Galco...the SBS works just as well as the Galco. The HP rocks front to back slightly in both holsters, but can be secured pretty well with the tension screws. I'd buy the SBS all around it is a better holster.

Don't know, call Josh. he's a pleasure to deal with, and he'll answer all your questions. I like the fact that the holster is made, finished and inspected by 1 person. Beside being finished nicer and drawing smoother than the Galco...here is why I'd by from Josh. :) Quality is worth the wait and after 8 months of use and 1000s of draws this holster looks new if I wipe it down, the Galco doesn't and it hasn't see the abuse the Bulman has. If you want some thing different...ie cant just ask he'll do it. I like knowing I am talking to the man who builds what I am ordering. I like supporting a 1 man shop, they are a dying breed here in the USA.
