Gamo buys Daisy

Just read about this earlier today that Gamo has aquired Daisy.

Not sure how I feel about this. Probably good for Daisy as a company- they are probably behind the curve as far as air gun development goes. Not certain how this will pan out in the long run. I have several Daisy's- three avanti 499's, a avanti 747, an 853- so I like them. Here's to hoping that things go well.

I got an old Sears Daisy.
Hope they keep the name alive.

Hmmmm, wasn't aware of this. Time will tell, but it seems to be the way things are going. I do hope they at least keep the name alive, as bikerdoc stated.
