I've done my fair share of garage plinking but I graduated to a basement.

I call my 853 my "mood enhancer." Feeling bored or a little down? Get the 853 out in my basement and stack pellets. Works every time.

I can get out to a laser measured 14 yards in the basement. Sometimes I shoot down there for initial sight-in and zeroing or else when the weather is lousy and I'm bored. Too much stuff in the garage to shoot very far, but if it's raining and I want to shoot further than 14 yards I can open the back door of the garage, put a target in the back yard and shoot from inside the garage.

Garages are fantastic for "BELL Target" shooting dist. 5, 6, to 7meters. most garages can do that.

For basement shooter, the Daisy 499b is tough to beat.
