Anhydrous lanolin can be gotten at a Scientific supply house, however, it has a lot of fat in it so won't be the best as a spray,, have to shake VERY often. The liquid lanolin can be gotton at a Whole sale foods, if you have one around, no water or impurities in it but the best way is to order in on line,, can find it for 6.00 a 4 oz bottle.
99 pc alcholo can be ordered from any pharmacy,, it dries faster than 91pc,, no waiting for it to dry, use instantly.

I'm not sure that I'd use a homemade spray on lube considering that spray lube isn't the best thing out there to start with- it seems like 90% of the threads titled something like "help, I have a case stuck in my sizing die!" the author had used Hornady one-shot or no lube at all.

For the DYI guys- I can respect trying to make something useful out of something that might be cheap, plentiful, and common- its sort of the spirit that reloaders have. For the price of chasing down some anhydrous lanolin and a bottle of IPA, you can easily get a tin or two of Imperial sizing die wax which will not only work better, will be less mess, less work involved in mixing up a concoction, will last a very long time, and absolutely will not stick a case if you use it properly. Save yourself the time and expense and just buy a tin.
