Glock 21SF slimline PIC!

First off, that pic looks photochopped--look at the backstrap.

Secondly, I'm not sure why people are referring to it as a "Slimline" seeing that it is as wide as the G21. The change is the grip in in contouring of the front and backstrap. The G36 is the only extant "Slimline" Glock at this time. I believe people are confusing the 2 new Glock .45s: the G21SF with the G36 "Tactical" which will debut at SHOT.
 
I hope it's a fake...what the heck is the deal with that rail???

As if there aren't already enough accessories for the current one that it needed a redesign :rolleyes:
 
Please, no more safeties and internal locking systems. People should strive to use their brains a little more. I'm very interested in the G21SF myself, but as someone stated, that rail looks a little bit too tacticool.:barf:

I'm sorry, did someone say Glock 36 tactical? What is that all about? Are there any additional details on this?
 
As stated above, Glock is rumored to be comming out with 2 new .45s at S.H.O.T.: a G21SF, and a "G36 Tactical," or whatever they decide to call it (G45?).

The "G36 Tactical" will have the same "Slimline" width as the G36, but will grow in height and length. How far in either direction is pure speculation, but I believe that it will have a flush fitting 8-9 round mag and a 4.5 to 5" barrel. "G36 Tactical" mags will fit in the G36.

Such a pistol would solve the Glock vs. 1911 debate for many. Compared to the 1911 a "G45" would be thinner, lighter, greater flush fitting mag capacity (8-9 vs. 7 rounds), more snag resistant, have a superior finish, have no grip or frame safety, fewer parts, have parts that do not require fitting, and close to 100% reliable out of the box without "break-in." All for about $500.
 
I will be very impressed if/when it happens. Based on the SHOT Show website, we only have to wait 36 day, or something like that.

If memory serves me, the next in the line would be the number designation 40.

Can you hear the Abbot and Costello routine...

I don't think that one of Glock's potentially finest models, chambered in .45, would be called the "Glock Foty". If that was the case, few here would be professional enough to carry it.

Yes and it'll still have a fat slide, extreme grip angle, and rat trap trigger.
Sorry but IMO when compared to the 1911 it can't compare.
