I bought a Glock model 22 new 10 years ago and until a year ago, never
had any problems. Now, a round or two jams in every magazine, although occasionally no problems. All factory ammo is used, I have a new barrel & recoil spring at 19#. The specific problem is that the fired shell doesn't eject so the new feed gets stopped. This is very annoying. Have fired 2500 rounds through it. I did put a new "extended" slide lock/release in around the same time as the problems started. I'll try putting the old one back but hoped someone might have another suggestion.

Welcome to The High Road!

Put the factory barrel in it. Put a 17 pound spring back in it too, that is all it needs. If that 19 # spring is on a metal guide rod take it out until you know it isn't the problem. If you haven't detail stripped the gun it needs to be done every year or 1000 rounds on a gun that might be used for defensive purposes. On a range gun you can stretch it to 5000 rounds or so usually. If you aren't comfortable doing it Glock armorers are all over and usually charge less than $50 to do it for you. If this ^^^ fixes it add one part at a time until it starts jamming again.

Glocks are very reliable until we start fixing them.
