Glock 22

I am new to shooting but I recently bought a Glock 22. I found it more difficult to shoot than my Smith 1911. I am wondering if I will be able to shoot it or if I should trade it in for something else. I bought it new as a rebuild and I know I will lose money on the deal. Am I giving up to easily or should I just practice more until I get used to the lighter weight of the gun?

i wouldn't trade a glock. if it functions flawlessly as it should then keep shooting it. eventualy it will feel normal.
