I noticed that CDNN has some police trade-in Glock 22's listed in their latest catalog - $329 for Gen2's and $349 for Gen3's. I've noticed that some of the Glock 22's I'm seeing as surplus on auction sites and the like show a department marking (I've seen Detroit Police Dept on a lot of them). Anybody order one of these? Do they have any such markings on them or are they plain?

Thanks.

A couple weeks ago I got a G22 Gen 2 LE trade in from Cabelas. I looked at two and got the one with the least wear internally. Neither had dept markings.

I think these go to Glock for inspection before being distributed to resellers so not sure if all from CDNN would be the same. Hope you get some replies from buyers from CDNN. It would be interesting to know where the one I got came from but probably no way to find out.

Named her Roxanne ... as in - you don't have to walk the streets no more (that old song by The Police) :p

I haven't bought a Glock from CDNN, but they've always been very honest over the phone.. even to the point that they talked me out of a sale. For that reason I continue to look at their catalog in hopes of doing business with them. They have a very good reputation in the surplus firearms are and I don't think they would want to screw it up. FWIW unless its a catastrophic problem a glock can be fixed by an armorer for pretty cheap.

Cool. Thanks guys. Was just curious. I'm kinda strange on some things and if buying a police surplus pistol I'd actually kinda like it to be marked with the department it came from like some of these Detroit PD ones. I already have a S&W 64 Revolver marked Pittsburgh PD and I think it adds a bit of something to the piece. Just a nice piece of history to know where where the gun came from and such. Yeah, it's a bit weird.

Oh well, I'll give them a call and ask. Thanks! :)

I think you are too late....that catalog is several months old. CDNN's dealer website no longer shows any Glocks in stock.

Strange. When I said "catalog" I wasn't talking about a paper one - it's the electronic one listed right on their website.

Oh well. :)

with CDNN, if I'm interested in something, I just call and ask "hey, do you have xyz?". they always seem to have stuff not listed in their catalogs.

Yep, they're like Numrich.
