I was offered the opportunity to purchase a G36 from a family member, has Trijicon NS, 4 Factory mags, Extended Slide Release, Extended Mag Release, 3.5lb Connector, Pearce extenders, box, all the goodies, and 5 boxes Winchester 230gr FMJ, for $500. He bought the basic gun for $550 and added everything else. The gun has never been fired and he needed to sell it asap, so I brought it home this morning.

I have several compact and sub compact Glocks, but I am not sure about the slimmer stature of the G36. But here in about an hour she will no longer be new, I will be down around a couple hundred rounds and I will know if she's a keeper or a throw back.

Here she is all clean and new, I can't be having that:D

VERY sweet deal! Even in my sorry financial position, it'd be hard to say "No" to that.

Congrats,

Did good! Nice pistol, excellent carry piece. Mine is in the carry rotation for summer since it is nice and thin. :D

Oh yeeeeahhh, the Glock 36... I liked mine but lusted for a Kimber .45. The Kimber's nice, but that 36... Gotta get another. You got an excellent deal. Enjoy-you're not likely to want to throw her back into the pool.

I prefer the slimmer G36 to the double stack version. I seems like the point of a compact gun is to make it concealable, and the single stack G36 is good in that respect,
