Glock, Lone Wolf 40-9 Conversion?

Sorry if this has been posted before but nothing really came up in my search. So anyways, being how I am, I'm always looking for something new. I own and m&p 9, 1911, few rifles and shotgun, and was thinking its time for a Glock. I'm thinking either a 23 Which i have shot a lot (Friend uses his for duty) or a g22. Not sure between the sizes but it won't be a carry piece so that's a non-issue. Anyways i have been looking a lot about the 40-9 conversions, seen the videos on youtube, and its all plain and simple. However in some of the vids I do see the gun hang up, and it other it runs like a top. So I'm just looking for some people who have personal experience with them to get some more opinions on it. Is it worth getting? Is it reliable? (Enough) I just like the idea of having two guns in one with the change of the barrel and mag..Look forward to hearing what yall have to say.

For range gun, I would recommend G22 over G23 as it will produce less snappy recoil and greater accuracy.

I use Lone Wolf 40-9 conversion barrels in G22/G27 and it is drop-in with no need for fitting/gunsmithing. Accuracy is on par with the factory barrels and factory extractors grip enough of the smaller 9mm case rims for reliable extraction.

You do need to use G17 magazines for reliable feeding.

I have the LW conversion. No issues in maybe 1000-1500 rounds. At least as accurate as the Glock barrel. Highly recommend it.

As long as I use 9mm mags along with a 40 to 9 conversion barrel, I have had zero issues.

When I first got my 23 to 19 conversion barrel, I used the G23 mags and I had a few feeding problems. But, like I said, as long as I am using 9mm mags.....it is good to go.

Good to hear these reports..I had planned on using 9mm mags with the conversion. Come to think of it the videos where i saw issues they were still using the 40 mags... :0
