Killed an 8 pt on my place in WV using Hornady's 7mm 139 gr GMX. Awesome bullet!!
The bullet went in on top of the back, cut 2 ribs, destroyed the lung, cut 2 ribs on bottom side and exited between the front legs. It stayed together, stayed in a straight line and didnt leave pieces of lead and jacket in the meat. I left an exit hole about the size of a quarter and didnt destroy any meat. I killed another buck earlier in the week and the bullet acted the same way. Great bullets.I'll never use anything else. Looking forward to trying them on hogs next year.

A hunting buddy with a 7mm Rem mag uses the same bullets and has had the same results. I'm still using the Interbonds - and they work extremely well in my rifles - and will purchase the GMX bullets and give them a try.

Nice buck to take out of the breeding cycle, congratulations.

Congrats on the hunt. I agree, the GMX is a fantastic projectile. I use Hornady SuperFormance, 165 grain GMXs in my Weatherby Mark V, .300 Win Mag. The deer I took last year with it, dropped instantly. Hornady claims that this weight of GMX out of a .300 Win Mag is sufficient to fully penetrate any game animal in America, even the large bears. Wow, I would like to test that promise out. :D Anyhow, great shooting!

I have had good success with the GMX in 257 Wby. 3 deer at ranges from 75 to 341 yards. One dropped at the shot and the other two just went a few steps.

Geno, why didn't you use a .308. Two shots from a .308 would have been more effective, right?

Just giving you a hard time.;)
