Going on a trip and had a question about transport.

Ok I have a quick question I posted this on a CA forum but no one seemed to know the answer. (my google fu is weak as I could not find the exact answer I was looking for). I am planning a trip to Idaho. So the basic question is when I cross into Nevada can I transport a loaded firearm in the vehicle in plain view, and can I also do so in Idaho. The only reason I ask is I remember when I was living in Arizona (before I got my AZ CCW. I no longer have my AZ CCW as I let it expire when I moved to CA) you could legally transport a loaded firearm without a CCW as long as it was in plain view. I was wondering as these states are free states as well if they had similar laws.

I know I should of kept my AZ CCW but honestly when I moved to CA I was so put off by the laws, that I actually got out of guns for about a year and a half

Peaceable Journey Laws, look into each state to see if they have them or honor them from other states.
