I have NEVER had this happen before. I am going to an Eastman's Gun Show in four hours, and I have no idea what to get. I have $150 to blow, but I cannot think of anything that I actually need. HELP! Give me some suggestions of stuff to buy at good deals at a show. I already have close to 15,000 rounds of ammo, so that might not be the best thing to get.

A butt load of beef jerky.
15 pairs of cheap sunglases.
A book on the Luger and it's variations.
A chiropractic check up.
A 3 hour massage.
A pair of Jennings 9mm.

Geez, took $800 to my local show and no one really wanted it that badly. :D

No interesting holsters, no revolver for my wife. Though I did get my ammo, lower AR receiver, and mags.

Hope SquirrelNuts finds something interesting!

Personally?

I do better when I empty my mind before I go. ;)

I make a note of two types of ammo to buy at the Georgia Arms table, make a point to buy a bag or two of Crockett Creek Ragin' Cajun jerky to nibble as I wander the show, and otherwise leave my mind in an empty zen-like state so as to be receptive to any great deals that may suddenly spring up in front of my nose. ;)

Well, I was going to buy a Neos and a scope at the same gun show Squirrelly's going to ( we should have hooked up tomorrow), but I bought both this week and the only thing I need is some kind of zip up bag for the gun to be stored in. I'll probably go anyway and look around though. I'm sure I'll see the pistol and scope I got there for cheaper than what I paid.:p

Okay...went to the Eastmann show in Houston today.

Took my own advice and wandered...couldn't get into Tam's Zen state, though.

I bought:

-Ajax black (fake buffalo) grips for a stainless Blackhawk.
-Doc Holliday type shoulder rig for same Blackhawk.
-Vertical forend for an SAR-2
-Two spare Bakelite mags for SAR (10 bucks a pop...not too shabby).
-10 boxes of 5.45X39 ammo.
-1 can of Unique powder
-1 Wilson 8 rounder.

Fun, Fun, Fun!

Targets! With $150 you wouldn't have to choose between Osama and plain black torso targets, you could have both! Then how about a steady rest and a new recoil pad for your rifle? Then MORE targets! I like those little 1 inch black dots that leave a yellow ring when you hit them and white paper :D
