What could go wrong with a classic cast? Lol that's a good deal!

That's what I thought until I saw the S&H! :what: It's still cheaper than a new one, but not by much.

I was almost super unhappy with myself since I just ordered a turret press from midway USA, but with $12 shipping I only missed out on a few dollars savings

I bought the regular 4-hole turret press for $77 from Midway. I'm happy with it and it seems sturdy, but for only $5 more I sure as heck would have gotten the classic turret.

A classic cast for $81 aint to shabby either. I may have to order one of those for myself for Christmas.

I wish I needed a single stage press because $81 is a very good price for a Classic Cast press but I already have 2 single stage presses and a turret press.

Yeah, my dad, brother and I went in together on loading equipment. Problem is, we live 40 minutes apart, so its not just a matter of going next door and loading ammo. So now, we've decided to set up at both locations.

I kept the Lee Breechlock and he took the RCBS Reloader Special press. Now I'm thinking I need one of those Classic Casts. :)

Yes, the Classic Cast and maybe even that $82 4 Hole Classic Turret too for your location.

I'm a big fan of the RCBS Rockchucker but when I saw the Lee Classic Cast single stage I was impressed. It's a very solid press with a heavy linkage. I wouldn't trade off the Rockchucker for one but if I didn't have the Rockchucker I wouldn't mind buying the Classic Cast either.

I actually added the regular Lee 4-hole turret press. It was $77 at Midway. If I was in need of one now, I'd definitely spend the extra $5 for the Classic.

The Classic turret press is so much better than the Deluxe turret press I would buy the Classic right now for $82 and sell off the Deluxe turret press. You can probably get close to the price you originally paid for the Deluxe Turret press in this environment. (especially if you list it on ebay)

I have thought of going with Nachez twice and called to finalize it. They were obviously not interested in my business...so I never followed through with the orders.

Their website is lacking as well.

Firsts from Titian are cheaper than seconds from Lee but reconditioned are a different deal and much less.

Last time I went firsts from Titan instead of reconditioned from Lee for an extra $17 just for peace of mind. Could be false peace of mind, do not know.

If I over spent, oh well............ A buddy has 3 different reconditioned presses from Lee and all are good with no quality issue. Oh well........

GD

Just an FYI for everyone, Lee's shipping is outrageous. The reconditioned classic cast press is $81 but shipping for it is $35.75.
At Midway a brand new one is $102 with shipping only $15.44, less than half.

Sounds like a good deal but when you mark shipping up 100% so you make more on the back end, it seems kind of shady.
