It may be worth your time to check your local Academy Sports. I just bought a Vortex Sparc AR there on clearance for $98.XX + tax. Their clearance items were 50% off the listed clearance price. I didn't really need it but I hate to walk away from a really good deal.

Bummer, none of the Academy within driving distance of me had any in stock. I ended up ordering one from Midway on sale with free shipping but still not as good of a deal as Academy. It will be my second one. I like it especially combine with their micro 3x magnifier.

Not quite as good as the Academy deal but if you really want a Sparc AR, Palmeto State Armory is running a special. Use the coupon code "SPARC" and you get it for $150 with free shipping. I have two of them and for the price they have been good dots for me. I really like the fact they run on a single AAA battery making have a few spars around easy.

That’s a good combo. I bought my SPARC a few years ago for a regular street price at the time of $120. I got the magnifier a bit later from a local classified.
