DONT know tha story over this one, if tha 'smith designed it and someone else (Some guy he knows) produces it, or what, DONT matter, cause tha point is, GREAT little bore light, .40 caliber, turn it on, drop down tha bore AND for THR guys in tha BLACKPOWDER SHOOTIN THREADS ONLY, They's 6.50 and .78 postage.

THINK (Not Certain!) is cheapest anywhere ya gonna get, and this is another THANK YOU fer helpin out!!!

Fer muzzleloaders theys tha best little bore lights i's used, course SOMEONE prolly hates em, if yas not tried em. do, theys good! BATTERIEs (TEENSY!) INCLUDED!

Huh... I always just put a steel ball bearing down the bore, shine a flashlight in and you can see well enough. Seems like this is a much better idea, though!

Nothin wrong with your method! Just another way for him ta say THANKS for tha guys! Little light IS good&bright!!!

..they realy work great...

..my brother bought one,at a web aution it is brass turn it on slide it
down the bore, lights up red light, shows you all the specks..
limited to 45,cal..works good..:D

No!! FORTY CALIBER!!

NOPE! AND NOPE!!!!!

No Limitation! This one measures .40 caliber, that FORTY CALIBER!

SOOOOOOOO ifin ya gots a .36 or .32 rifles yous outta luck!

I use a AAA Mini-Mag Solitare down the barrel of my .54 cal front loader, and it allows all but the last 2" ot be seen, as the light is that long. I found that it fits in a Altoids tin along with the other jigs needed for field maint., and stores on the back pouch of my possibles bag.

I know Gander Mountain sells them, for how much, I can't recall, probably everybody else too. Calibre, I don't know.

Actually, what I need is a standard open breech bore light, nobody local seems to carry them, not worth buying netwise and paying the freight. Have to remember that next order for something else.

Cheers,

George

What do I need to do to get one?

I need to check some of my older irons, haven't paid them much attention in years, but no good way to look at the bore down deep.
