Good O/U for skeet?

So i want to buy a decent O/U gun for skeet, i have done some reading around the boards about it and have some questions, i understand its not worth buying a cheap O/U which is fine but i am young and don't really want to spend 1400$ on a gun right now, i have no problem with buying a used SKB or something. well i was wondering if there are other places online that sell
guns, i have taken a look at gunbroker and thats all i really know about.

another question would be how are the Stoeger condors? i have seem some decent review or posts on this board about them was wondering if anybody had any other opinions?
if i had to pick a price range i would try to stay under like 800 which i would think would be reasonable for a used gun i mean i know its going to go over and the end of the day with taxes and transfer fees so thats why i choose that number.
Oh 30" is an ideal length right?

Depending on how adept you are at economic rationalization and self-delusion one of the short barreled Cynergys with the 500.00 "rebate" might be a plan.

I got one of the composite field models for 1299.00 from CDNN which, after the 500.00 in merchandise and actual money, might be said to be only 800.00.

Fortunately, torturing logic isn't addressed by either the Geneva convention or the Hague accords so I've had some small degree of success convincing myself that 3-digit Cynergys exist.

It probably helped that I actually needed the stuff in the "rebate package". Less the ball cap. Neither does it hurt that I've become quite enamored of the composite stock's adaptability. Also, their field model doesn't have an auto-safety and actually comports itself well as a single gauge skeet machine. Too bad its owner is lagging but the voyage is fun.

It depends on what you want and how much you are willing to spend but you might check out the Yildiz O/U. It is an excellent gun with beautiful wood, good balance and well built. Mine is still going strong about 4,000 rounds later.

Get the O/U that fits you the best. Shoulder as many as you possibly can. Price should be more-or-less secondary.

Remember that barrel length affects balance and swing--nothing else.

yea thats what im going to do is just try to shoot and get a feel that work for me

Keep your eyes open for a good deal. They are out there. In the meantime, shoulder as many different brands you can until you find what fits you well.

I got a used Browning Citori Special trap with a case for $850 OTD two years ago.

Go to the shop with the racks full of O/U guns to find what you like. Then go to the shop with the Military guns and a few odd shotguns to find the deal.
